The Ybor Roost is a unique urban farmhouse/tiny house designed to offer guests an authentic and distinctive Ybor City experience. Visitors rave about the superb location, original artwork, and the free-roaming chickens. Nestled in the heart of historic Ybor City, you can easily walk to all the nightlife while still being far enough away to unwind in the private backyard. Tampa has nothing else like the Ybor Roost. It is charming, cozy, and perfect for your stay.
During your visit, you will have exclusive access to the entire 495 square feet house. On the day of your reservation, I will provide you with a code to enter the house.
While the Ybor Roost can accommodate up to four people, it is a cozy space. There is a bedroom with a barn door and lock, as well as a new mid-century modern queen size Joybird sleeper sofa (60″W x 72″ D mattress) in the living room.
Ybor City is an urban neighborhood with a mini New Orleans feel. The area is vibrant and rich in culture, with Cuban immigrants having established cigar factories here in the 1880s. The Italian and Cuban clubs still exist, and the area is steeped in fascinating history. However, please be aware that noise from roosters, trains, and people or music from the main stretch on 7th Avenue is possible. While white noise machines and earplugs are provided for light sleepers, it is important to note that I cannot control the noise. If you are sensitive to these factors, Ybor City may not be the ideal location for your stay.
