Tampa Bay Tiny Homes was established in 2016 by a group of local business owners with diverse backgrounds in construction, real estate, horticulture, technology, and program management. Our founders, Brian Zmich, Chris Short, Matthew Bader, and Herbert Dorsey, bring their expertise and passion to our team.

Brian Zmich has a wealth of experience in brand development, messaging, and image. He managed the purchasing, financing, remodeling, and selling of homes in the Tampa Bay area before joining Tampa Bay Tiny Homes. Chris Short is a professional carpenter with a lifelong passion for gardening and organic home gardens. He leads workshops, manages internal business operations and technology systems, and ensures smooth operations. Matthew Bader has a background in mortgage brokerage and foreclosure defense, and he opened a consulting firm specializing in home restoration and real estate portfolio building. Herbert Dorsey is an entrepreneur with experience in sales, wireless industry management, real estate investing, and home design. He has purchased and renovated homes throughout the Tampa Bay Area and is passionate about bringing affordable living to the region.
