Introducing the Turley Family,
My spouse and I tied the knot in September 2007 and have since raised four lovely children who keep us on our toes. Our eldest, Leia, is eight, followed by Brice at six, Kate at four, and the youngest, Grace, at three. We come from big families ourselves and desired to have a sizable one of our own, though not quite as large. Growing up, Brian had eight siblings, and I had five.
We made the move from Arizona to Tennessee back in 2011 when Brian’s friend offered him a job at a zip line in Gatlinburg, TN. Though we had never heard of the place, we were excited for a new adventure and decided to take the leap. Little did we know that our lives would change drastically! We moved during July, and I had never seen such lush greenery before. The natural beauty of the trees and mountains in this area blew us away, and we fell in love with the Smokies. Life here is slower, and people are more hospitable, which we appreciate.
To make our venture even more of a family business, we enlisted Brian’s brother, Jay, to help with the day-to-day operations. Having family nearby has been an excellent addition to our lives, especially since our relatives are out west. Jay’s wife, Kat, and their adorable three-year-old daughter and six-month-old son have joined us as well, and it’s just wonderful having them close by.
When we first moved to Tennessee, my husband worked, and I stayed home to care for the kids. However, our dream was always to start a family business to spend more time together, which led us to create Long Springs. We’ve invested considerable time, thought, energy, and love into this project, maybe even a few tears. Our hope is that everyone who visits finds a welcoming, lovely environment to enjoy everything this fantastic area has to offer. We want our guests to feel relaxed and have fun while they stay with us. We aim to add more amenities to make our guests’ vacations even better!
