Custom-built small structures including cabins, playhouses, studios, coffee and food huts, and tiny houses are my specialty!

I can construct structures up to 200 sqft plus loft (500 sqft in Delta County) ranging from $3,500 to $24,000, including design and build services. Located just south of Delta, my structures are affordable and perfect for those looking for small living spaces.

The price includes everything you need, such as a small kitchen, bathroom with a composting toilet and water heater, and a queen bed downstairs or upstairs, along with appliances. Delivery is available for an additional fee of $200 plus $3 per mile, and the structure will be set on wood skids and cement blocks on level ground.

If you plan to build in-town, keep in mind that building codes may be more stringent, requiring on-site contractors, foundations, water/sewer taps, excavation, and permits. As a result, my structures are best suited for use as backyard playhouses or studios. However, if you live in the countryside, it may be easier to have a fully connected cabin or house that complies with local building codes.

In most areas of Colorado and the USA, a 200 sqft playhouse/shed with no utilities typically does not require a permit, making it a viable option for many. These structures are usually around 10x20ft and may have inspected electrical and a small kitchen with a composting toilet. Adding a flush toilet and full bath or shower may trigger costly building codes and permits, making them less feasible.

If you’re looking for a portable option, I can also build structures on wheels, such as a DOT trailer for an additional cost of $4,500 to $8,500, plus RVIA inspection if required. This makes it easier to comply with building codes and allows you to park the structure at an RV park or in your backyard, subject to planning and zoning regulations.

I also offer mini structures such as 8x8ft, 8x16ft, and 10x20ft for campground rentals, wineries, ranches, and Airbnb accommodations, ranging from $4,500 to $19,500.

Additionally, I can customize coffee and food huts with upgraded features such as rusty metal siding, wood stove, solar panels, decks, grass roofs, skylights, fancy windows, and wood doors.

As a compassionate builder, I offer a 25% discount on labor for those who are homeless or under the age of 18. Furthermore, if you’re planning to build your dream house in the future, you can try out your windows, siding, design, flooring, lighting, and more by staying in a $15,000 studio that I can build, and keep it for your friends and family when finished.

Please note that on-site builds are only available in Delta County and include state permits, foundation, and a custom-ready-to-move-in structure, with prices ranging from $27,000 to $47,000 for a 200 to 500 sqft house with an upstairs area of 300 sqft.

For those interested in tiny houses on wheels, while trailers can be expensive, they allow me to build in shops and comply with building codes in Mesa, Garfield, and other counties as an accessory dwelling unit.

Unfortunately, shed conversions are only possible if I can collect your shed and bring it to my shop for work. On-site builds are not available.

The timeline for construction is typically 3 to 12 weeks, and I may have some inventory available, such as a rustic 6x6ft playhouse for $19,500, or a 10x20ft cabin with a single story, kitchen, and bathroom for $14,900, with financing options available through
