The concept of tiny living has evolved into a social movement, advocating for a simplified lifestyle in small spaces with only the essentials. Tiny houses are often defined as being under 400 sq. ft., featuring creative storage solutions and upscale finishes. The reasons for embracing tiny living vary, but most commonly include financial benefits, simplification, and environmental sustainability through reduced utility usage and consumption.
While our tiny homes are available for short-term rentals and not for sale, they offer a unique opportunity to experience tiny living firsthand. Located amidst 2 million acres of national forest, our resort encourages guests to immerse themselves in outdoor adventures and use our tiny homes as a cozy home base in the heart of South Fork. Despite their small size (170 sq. ft.), our tiny homes are designed to be comfortable and inviting.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming phase two development, which includes plans for six additional foundation-built tiny homes. These cabins will offer 398 sq. ft. of living space with a standing-height sleeping loft of 200 sq. ft. We will begin construction on the first tiny home, which will be ADA accessible, in the summer of 2020.
Tiny Timbers Resort was created with the intention of sharing our love for South Fork and providing guests with the opportunity to create cherished family memories in one of the most stunning areas of Colorado.
Tiny Timbers Resort is an ongoing project, with plans for six more foundation-built tiny homes in addition to our current offerings of tiny homes and log cabins. The future cabins will feature 390 sq. ft. of main living floor space, complete with a full modern kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, and a pull-out queen-sized sofa in the living area. The luxurious rustic-modern finishes will be complemented by designer touches throughout, and each cabin will boast a 228 sq. ft. covered deck for outdoor dining and relaxation.
By the end of summer, our resort will also feature a kids’ play area, horseshoe pit, and other amenities for our guests to enjoy.
