Located just 30 miles west of Portland, Oregon, Rice’s Horses is easily accessible via Highway 26 and Highway 47 in Buxton, Oregon. To get there, take Highway 26 past Banks and Manning and turn right onto OR-47 North, following signs for Vernonia/Clatskanie. Rice’s Horses will be on the right, just one mile after joining Highway 47.

Guests of Rice’s Horses can enjoy a variety of activities, including horseback riding on safe and well-trained horses suitable for all ages and skill levels. The property offers trails for beginners and experienced riders, as well as a spacious indoor arena for year-round riding.

For those who wish to explore the area, there are several outdoor activities nearby, such as hiking trails and golf courses, as well as vineyards for wine tasting. Disc golf enthusiasts will enjoy the courses at Buxton Woods DGC, LL Stub Stewart DGC, and Horning’s Hideout DGC.
