Formerly an RV park, Matlacha Tiny Village now boasts an entire community of small, brightly colored homes. The village has become a popular destination for travelers from Canada, Europe, and the US. The tiny homes are only about 200 square feet in size, similar to that of a garage. Visitors can choose from five different types of units, including the Mermaid, Flamingo, Dolphin, Margarita, and Alligator villages, with prices starting at $129 per night.

Each rental unit includes access to community amenities such as a BBQ grill, dock, deck, and kayak launch. The tiny homes can accommodate up to four people and come equipped with a kitchenette that includes a microwave, fridge, induction cooktop, and coffee maker.
