In 2010, we designed and built our very first Tiny home called Sage. We put a lot of thought and planning into her design and constructed her in our backyard without any shelter from the elements. Sage is 8.6 feet wide, 22 feet long, 13.6 feet high, and boasts 252 square feet of living space. Once she was completed, we set her up on a friend’s lake as a weekend getaway for our family. Over the years, as our business grew, we acquired property to build our own shop on. We moved Sage to the tiny house build site and transformed her into an office/lunch room. We realized that we preferred the Tiny lifestyle and decided to go Tiny full-time in 2016. We wish we had done it in 2010! We are also in the process of developing a Tiny house community on our property in Danville, Georgia, which is a Tiny Home-friendly county of Wilkinson.
