Established by Matthew Black, Blacks Buildings delivers top-notch handcrafted portable buildings and sheds throughout the state of Tennessee.

The roots of Blacks Buildings trace back to Matthew Blue’s childhood. In 1995, his parents started manufacturing sheds as a spin-off of their mobile home roofing business, and that’s where he gained his initial experience in the industry.

With over 25 years of expertise in the portable building sector, Matthew Blue understands the key elements that contribute to creating high-quality buildings.

Blacks Buildings utilizes only premium materials. Our popular metal buildings are constructed with No. 1 grade metal. Each building features a robust floor system built on notched 4 by 6 runners with pressure-treated 2 by 6 joists, and is finished with industry-leading subflooring. Blacks Buildings are designed to stand the test of time, built to last for generations.
