Hands of Hope Housing Project of Marion Ohio was founded by The Marion Ohio Pastors and Ministers Conference to create long term solutions for the City of Marion’s homelessness crisis.
Marion Ohio is a city in need of help. It is with that intention The Marion Ohio Pastors and Ministers Conference was established. MOPMC has a focus of creating solutions to the issues prominent in the community, such as homelessness. It is with this Ministerial alliance that The Hands of Hope Housing Project of Marion Ohio was founded. This project has the goal to create transitional housing for homeless persons as well as wrap around services to help create self-sufficiency. Marion is facing a homelessness crisis and it is our intent to partner with the community to help those who need it most.
The Marion Ohio Pastors and Ministers Conference Mission Statement:
The Marion Pastors and Ministers Conference is a nondenominational organization. We are dedicated to the stewardship of our lives and resources, recognizing our spiritual gifts, and offering them sacrificially, and joyfully to God through service to His Church. We share the love of Christ and offer His redeeming Grace by meeting the Spiritual, Emotional, and Physical needs of our Community. We embrace the diversity of our community and maintain that diversity in our organization. We are committed to promoting and developing peace, love, and unity in our community. Our goal is to enable others to participate, serve, and lead. We do so by promoting the following.
- Community service.
- Christian education and enrichment.
- Christian fellowship.
- The empowerment of the people of God.
