Village is a meticulously planned community spanning 51 acres, dedicated to providing affordable, permanent housing and a supportive environment for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness. Developed by Mobile Loaves & Fishes, this life-changing residential program is designed to show love and compassion to our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also inspiring the surrounding community to embrace a lifestyle of service towards the homeless.

 

Phase I

Mobile Loaves & Fishes is spearheading an unparalleled collaborative effort to address homelessness in the city of Austin. This transformative community is committed to caring for and serving our friends who are transitioning out of chronic homelessness and longing for a permanent place to call their own.

Phase I of the Village encompasses 27 acres and, once fully developed, will provide a home for over 200 individuals who have previously experienced homelessness.

Phase II

In the autumn of 2018, Mobile Loaves & Fishes marked a significant milestone in its continuous endeavor to address homelessness in Austin with the expansion of Community First! Village. Phase II of the Village is situated right beside the Phase I development and encompasses an additional 24 acres of land, resulting in a total property size of 51 acres and over 500 homes.

Phase II of the Village will leverage the existing infrastructure of Phase I, while also introducing new structures and amenities that include:
