Carpenter Owl is a building studio located in Bloomington, IN that specializes in crafting distinctive structures using natural materials. Our approach revolves around catering to the unique needs and preferences of our clients, while prioritizing environments that are low in chemicals and allergens. We are committed to sustainability and strive to utilize reclaimed and locally sourced materials whenever feasible.

OUR STRUCTURES

Our structures primarily fall into three categories: tiny homes, studios, and excursion structures.

TINY HOMES

Our tiny homes are fully equipped to serve as year-round, full-time residences and can be designed on wheels or permanent foundations.

STUDIOS

Our studios are designed to facilitate deep exploration of passions and can serve as standalone structures or additions. They are not intended as full homes, but rather as dedicated structures for pursuits such as gardening, art, yoga, and more.

EXCURSION STRUCTURES

Our excursion structures are designed to enhance celebrations or adventures, and you may find them in settings ranging from weddings to floating down the mighty Mississippi River.
