Indulge in your love for tiny houses at our unique Tiny House Resort, nestled in the picturesque Catskill Mountains, just a two-hour drive from NYC. Each of our cozy tiny houses comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home, including a kitchen, full bathroom with flush toilet, heat/air conditioning, WiFi, TV, and a private patio with a gas barbecue grill and fire pit. Linens, towels, and pillows are all provided, and our tiny houses can comfortably accommodate 2-6 people. Designed for social distancing and pet-friendly, our resort is a perfect getaway for every season.

On-site amenities abound, including a heated in-ground pool (open May-Oct), hiking trails leading to a waterfall, kayaks, tubing, a floating raft, baby goats, ducks, and bunnies for animal lovers to enjoy. Visit our gardens for fresh seasonal veggies, and delight in complimentary eggs from our chickens year-round. At our resort, we prioritize your well-being and safety.

About Us:

Founded by Bob Malkin, a visionary in the world of art and design, “Think Big!” was a renowned retail store in Soho that featured oversized pop art, becoming a favorite destination for tourists and celebrities alike. Bob’s daughter, Marjorie, along with her husband, kids, and dogs, lived in a 35-foot RV and managed Bob’s waterfront vacation rental properties in the Catskills. When Marjorie expressed her desire for a tiny house to live in, Bob sold the Soho location and invested the proceeds into a new venture – a tiny house vacation rental resort.

The search for the perfect property led them to a 40-acre land with half a mile of creek frontage and an onsite waterfall, which had been abandoned for 11 years. With Marjorie’s keen eye, they saw the potential and “Think Big!” came full circle. The oversized art store transformed into an undersized paradise. Our tiny homes have exceeded expectations, with breathtaking water views that leave our guests saying “WOW.” We invite you to experience the magic of tiny living in this spectacular setting, just 2 hours from NYC. Our resort offers year-round beauty, from winter to spring, summer to fall, with the serene Catskill Creek, our very own waterfall, a seasonal heated pool, and our adorable little goats, ducks, and chickens, all ready to make your getaway truly special. Our name, “Think Big! Live Small.”, pays homage to our founder’s foresight.
